Sábado 18 de enero de 2012. Un cuarto de hora antes del partido; y una hora antes del apocalipsis. En un pequeño pueblo del noreste de Francia, Caplongue, con una central nuclear, un industrializada agricultura y una gran tasa de desempleo, pero también con un equipo de futbol que ha logrado llegar a la final de copa francesa con mucho valor y talento. El pueblo se ha volcado con su equipo para que pueda ganar la final, pero el principal club de la liga de París lleno de famosos futbolistas no puede permitirse una derrota. Entre París y Caplongue hay más de 250 km. Es un partido que enfrenta lo rural contra lo urbano, los amateurs contra los profesionales, un pueblo contra la capital, los pobres contra los ricos. Pero una epidemia empieza a transformar de manera instantánea tanto a los jugadores como a la afición en unas extrañas y enfurecidas criaturas. Película dividida en dos partes de 60 minutos, dirigida cada una por uno de sus dos realizadores.
